Overview

Proloca is designed with privacy in mind. Your trading data stays on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal trading information.

Data Storage

All your trades, notes, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone. This data is not transmitted to our servers or any third party.

If you enable Face ID or Touch ID protection, your data is additionally secured by your device's biometric authentication.

Data We Collect

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. This includes:

  • Which screens you visit
  • Which features you use
  • App crashes and errors
  • Device type and iOS version

This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally. We do not collect your trading data, financial information, or personal details.

App Store Refund Requests

If you request a refund for an in-app purchase through Apple's App Store, we may provide Apple with purchase and app usage information to help Apple evaluate the refund request. This may include an anonymous account or installation identifier, time since app installation, subscription or trial status, whether paid access was used, total amount spent, total amount refunded, and related app usage or consumption information.

This refund-related information is processed through Adapty and shared with Apple only for App Store refund request handling. We do not share the contents of your trading journal, trade notes, trade history, or financial entries with Apple for this purpose.

By using Proloca and accepting our Terms of Service, you agree to this refund-related data sharing. You can revoke this consent at any time by contacting us at hello@proloca.app. After we process your request, we will opt you out of future refund-related data sharing where supported.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • PostHog: For anonymous usage analytics
  • Apple App Store: For subscriptions and payments
  • Adapty: For subscription management and App Store refund request handling

Data Export

You can export your data at any time in CSV format from the app's settings. This gives you full control over your information.

Data Deletion

Deleting the app removes all your data from your device. Since we do not store your data on our servers, there is nothing to delete on our end.

Children's Privacy

Proloca is not intended for use by children under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
